Parent Groups

School Council

All parents are encouraged to attend monthly meetings. School Council is a forum for parent involvement in the school community. Parents are welcome to come out to the meetings to learn about school programs and to support the efforts of the school staff in improving student learning and citizenship.

All parents and guardians are invited to attend the School Council meetings. Meetings are held at 7 pm, usually on Monday. The first meeting of the 2018 - 2019 school year will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018. Elections will be held for key School Council positions at this meeting.

The Baturyn Parent Association (fund raising group) meets immediately after the School Council meeting is adjourned.

Baturyn Parent Association Mission Statement

The mission of the Baturyn Parents Association is to serve as an avenue of communication and cooperation among parents, administration and faculty; to build and foster the spirit of the community; to assist in the implementation of school activities.

This mission is achieved by the following means:

  1. Encouraging and facilitating parent volunteering
  2. Fostering healthy relationships within the school and in the community
  3. Raising funds in order to provide academic enrichment, capital improvements and supplies for the students.
