The Baturyn School Council consists of parents, teachers and community members working together with the principal to promote the well being and effectiveness of the entire school community, thereby enhancing student achievement. The school council is one way parents can become involved with teachers and administrators to ensure that all students at Baturyn receive the best possible education.
The Baturyn School Council meets regularly throughout the school year, on the last Monday of each month at 7:00 PM. (Exceptions are December and June)
The purpose of the Council is to promote the free exchange of ideas between parents and school staff relating to school programs and policies. It facilitates projects and programs of benefit to students. Our school council is open to all parents and guardians who have children attending Baturyn School.
Our Parent Association has organized several casinos to support and enrich all school programs.
These past casinos have provided students with many extras. These include an up to date technology lab, a stage and musical instruments. It also has renovated our library and continues to help us have a continuous supply of new reading materials for our students.
Staff and students are extremely grateful for the parental support in education. We look forward to a long and positive relationship with our parents.
Together, we make a difference for children!
