EPS MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Edmonton Public Schools, advocate of choice, is to ensure success of all students in their goals of schooling, and to assure the parents of each child and the community as a whole that this mission is being accomplished, through exemplary staff performance, program diversity, measured student achievement of outcomes, and site-based decision making, and by reinforcing the responsibilities and commitment of parents, students, and community.
SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY
Baturyn School promotes the intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and cultural development of each student in an encouraging, safe, and supportive environment conducive to learning so that each student can function as a responsible citizen in our ever-changing society.
WE BELIEVE THAT:
"SUCCESS
. . is not measured by how far you get but by the distance you travel from where you start".
AT BATURYN, WE STRIVE FOR EXCELLENCE!
This means we care more than others think is wise;
Dream more than others think is practical;
And expect more than others think is possible.
We believe in our children's potential!
